During the first field campaign in Turkistan oblast, several Moroccan Locust bands (first and second stage) were located. Two different drone types and cameras (RGB and multispectral) were used to detect infested area at different flight specifications to generate a database for further development. Healthy and by locust affected vegetation as well as bare soil are visible in the images. In next step an autoamtic approach to identify and distinguish these areas will be developed.
